Thematic Issue of the Journal SOPHOS
SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES: STATE AND PERSPECTIVES

 

The editorial board of the journal SOPHOS invites authors to submit scholarly and professional papers for the thematic issue entitled “Social Sciences and Humanities: State and Perspectives.” The aim of this issue is to provide a forum for critical reflection on the contemporary position, challenges, and future directions of development within the social sciences and humanities, as well as for interdisciplinary approaches that contribute to their theoretical and methodological advancement.

 

Submissions are welcome from all relevant fields within the social sciences and humanities, including (but not limited to) philosophy, sociology, political science, history, linguistics, cultural studies, education, anthropology, psychology /social psychology, and related disciplines.

Submission requirements:

* Manuscripts must be written in English, German, or French.

* All manuscripts must be proofread prior to submission.

* The submission deadline is 30 June 2026.

* Manuscripts received after the stated deadline will not be considered.

* All submitted manuscripts will undergo evaluation through a double-blind peer review process.

Manuscripts must include a statement on the use of artificial intelligence. Authors are required to clearly indicate whether and in what manner AI tools were used in the preparation of the manuscript. A specific declaration must be provided if artificial intelligence was used for translation, proofreading, stylistic editing, technical preparation of the text, as well as in relation to methodological procedures or considerations concerning the ethical dimension of the research. Authors bear full responsibility for the content of the manuscript, regardless of any use of AI tools.
